About 243 to 198 lb. Eight months. Still my regular life.
I’m Maciek, the creator of Ordinary. I lost weight while making room for pizza and a beer on weekends, with about an hour of exercise a week. I built habits I could keep up without putting the rest of my life on hold.
I counted calories to understand my portions and learn how much food I needed. I brought that experience into Ordinary so you can skip the counting stage and start learning to eat more intuitively. You begin with your usual meals, and the app helps you understand what to adjust.

You don’t need another Monday reset. You need something that works on a busy Tuesday, after a takeout dinner, and through the weekend.

For me, it was short sets of pull-ups, push-ups and leg exercises spread through the day. Consistency mattered more than an all-out burst.

No. Log your regular meals, whether that’s pizza with friends, a sandwich for lunch, or dinner at home. Ordinary helps you connect those entries with your weight over time and choose small changes. Calorie estimates are optional context, not a daily target.
Counting and weighing helped me understand how much I ate and how my body responded. Ordinary lets you skip the manual work: start with everyday meals, observe your weight and find adjustments from there. My transformation happened before the app existed.
We start with your normal food and the room you realistically have for movement. My roughly one hour of training a week describes my own story, not a universal plan. We look for habits that fit you.

I can’t promise that. Losing about 44 lb over 8 months was my personal experience. Ordinary helps you notice patterns and make everyday choices. It doesn’t guarantee weight loss or replace a doctor or registered dietitian.
