Ordinary - Terms of Service Version / Wersja: 2026-10-29 ## 1. Provider and contact Ordinary is a digital service provided by **Paso Maciej Brzeziński**, a sole trader in Poland, at Nowodwór 42, 08-503 Nowodwór, Poland, tax identification number (NIP) **7123421010**. “Ordinary”, “we” and “us” refer to this provider. Contact us at **[maciejbrzezinskibm@gmail.com](mailto:maciejbrzezinskibm@gmail.com)** about the service, purchases, complaints or withdrawal. You may also write to the postal address above. These terms apply to purchases on the Ordinary website. They do not describe a purchase from an app store. The service is available in English and Polish; the language you choose is the language used for your order. Both versions preserve the same consumer rights. ## 2. What Ordinary provides Ordinary lets adults record meals and everyday activity, track weight measurements, add optional progress photos and review small changes to try. AI can interpret your questionnaire, transcribe a recording, help identify foods and prepare suggestions from your entries. You review and choose whether to use those suggestions. The timing of a review depends on available entries and measurements; it is not an immediate personalized diet plan. Ordinary is an educational journal, not a medical service. It does not diagnose, prescribe treatment or guarantee weight loss. Estimates, including portions and calories, can be wrong. Do not use the service to make urgent medical decisions. A founder's personal story describes an individual experience, not a promised result or proof that the application caused that result. These explanations do not limit your statutory rights concerning the service itself. ## 3. Requirements and account You must be at least 18. You need an internet connection, a current browser with JavaScript and essential browser storage enabled, and a working email address. A camera and microphone are optional and require your permission. The web service works on compatible desktop and mobile browsers; the purchase does not promise a currently available native mobile application. The questionnaire and its explanation are free. Paid features require a completed questionnaire, an account and confirmed paid access. Provide accurate account information and keep your password confidential. Your account is for your personal use. Tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You can correct entries and account information through the available controls or contact us for help. ## 4. Plans, price and renewal - **Six months:** USD149 for each full six-month period. The subscription renews automatically for another six months at USD149 unless you cancel the next renewal before it is charged. There is no free trial associated with this plan. - **Lifetime:** USD249 once, for access during the operating lifetime of the Ordinary service, without recurring subscription charges. It is not a promise that the service will operate indefinitely. Statutory remedies remain available if the service is not supplied as agreed. Both plans include the available paid features. Prices are the total amounts charged by Ordinary as shown in Checkout. Your bank may apply currency conversion or its own charges. No paid add-on is selected on your behalf. A different future price requires clear information before it applies; we do not retrospectively change an already purchased period or impose a recurring fee on a Lifetime purchase. ## 5. Order, payment and activation Choose a plan, create or sign in to your account, review the price, renewal terms and these terms, and confirm an order with an obligation to pay on the Stripe payment page. The contract for the selected access is concluded when successful payment is confirmed. Payment is processed by Stripe; card details are entered in Stripe's interface. Your bank statement may show ORDINARY.FIT, an ORDINARY prefix with a plan descriptor, or the provider's name. We activate access after the payment and purchase entitlement are verified. A return from Checkout by itself does not prove payment. If you have been charged but access has not appeared, do not pay again; contact us with your account email and transaction reference. Payment confirmation is available through Stripe. You can download and retain this version of the terms from this page. ## 6. Cancelling renewal and closing an account Cancel the next six-month renewal from **Settings → Manage subscription**, or contact us for assistance. Cancelling renewal leaves access active until the end of the paid period. It does not automatically request a refund for that period. Lifetime has no renewal to cancel. Withdrawal rights and remedies for a faulty service are separate from renewal cancellation. You can request account deletion in Settings or by email. If the interface asks you to end an active subscription first, contact us to exercise your data rights or resolve the subscription. Closing or deleting an account must not be relied on as a substitute for cancelling an active renewal. Export information you wish to retain before deletion. Processing of personal data is explained in the [Privacy Policy](/privacy). ## 7. Your right to withdraw If you are a consumer entitled to withdraw from a distance contract, you may withdraw **within 14 days after concluding the contract**, without giving a reason. Send an unambiguous statement to the email or postal address in section 1 before the deadline. No particular form is required. Starting to use Ordinary does not, by itself, waive that right. We do not treat acceptance of these terms as consent to lose it. Following a valid withdrawal, we end the corresponding paid access and refund the payments due, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the statement, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise without additional cost. We do not deduct an early-use charge where the separate express request and information required by law have not been obtained. Mandatory consumer protections and any applicable longer statutory deadline take precedence. You may use this optional model: “To Paso Maciej Brzeziński, Nowodwór 42, 08-503 Nowodwór, Poland, maciejbrzezinskibm@gmail.com. I withdraw from my contract for Ordinary [plan], concluded on [date]. Account email: [email]. Consumer's name and address: [details]. Date: [date]. Signature, only if sent on paper: [signature].” ## 8. Complaints and conformity of the service We are responsible for supplying the digital service in conformity with the contract and applicable consumer law, including required security and conformity updates. Report a problem to the contact in section 1. Describe the problem and your requested remedy, and give a way to contact you. An account email or payment reference can help, but a particular receipt format is not a condition for exercising statutory rights. Never send a password or complete card details. We respond to consumer complaints within **14 days**. Where the law provides that failure to respond means acceptance, that rule applies. If the service is not supplied or is not in conformity, you can exercise the statutory remedies, including requesting supply or conformity and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or withdrawal and an appropriate refund. These rights are not replaced by our support process. ## 9. Your content and optional community You keep your rights to your entries and photos. You authorise us to process and display them only as needed to provide the features you use, maintain security and comply with law. Do not upload content you have no right to use, unlawful material or information about other people without a proper basis. Your diary, measurements and meal photos are private. A public community profile is optional. A progress photo becomes public only when you separately share the photo and enable your public profile. Public profiles can participate in general and quarterly voting rankings once they have enough shared photos. Votes are not a medical assessment. You may unpublish your profile or photos. Report unlawful content or misuse by email, identifying the profile or content concerned. We may restrict unlawful content or abusive access where justified, and explain the decision and available contact route, subject to legal or security restrictions. ## 10. Availability, updates and changes We maintain and update the service, including security updates. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance or faults; this does not remove statutory remedies. Do not attack the service, bypass access controls, misuse other people's data or use automation that disrupts operation. We may change these terms for a concrete legal, security or service-related reason. Material changes affecting an existing paid contract will be communicated in advance in a form you can retain and will not retroactively remove acquired rights. Where law requires agreement or a right to terminate because a change negatively affects access or use, those requirements apply. We do not use this section to turn Lifetime into a subscription or withdraw promised essential features without the remedies required by law. ## 11. Applicable law and disputes Polish law applies, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence where applicable. No provision imposes an exclusive court that removes a consumer's legal choice of jurisdiction. Consumers may seek help from a local consumer adviser, the European Consumer Centre or the competent consumer authority, and may seek an available out-of-court procedure where its conditions are met. We do not require arbitration or waive access to a court. Invalid provisions do not exclude mandatory rights or invalidate the remaining lawful provisions.
